STEPS TO OPERATING THE NIFTY SD50
Ensure all e-stops have been pulled out/turned on
If using diesel power, hold glow plugs for appropriate amount of time, then start the machine
In the basket, ensure selector switch is on outrigger control
Level the machine by bringing all four outriggers to the ground, ensuring pressure has been applied to each outrigger and the machine is level.
Turn selector switch to boom control
Begin using desired boom functions by bringing up the upper boom, followed by the lower boom, then telescoping function
Vise versa, on the way down. Telescope back in, bring your lower boom down a bit, then bring your upper boom down until you can see the cradle that the lower boom is supposed to land in, bring lower boom down into cradle, finally bring your upper boom all the way down
Ensure at least one e-stop if not all, have been pushed in/turned off to preserve battery life
